12 Did Hunter Leave his Electric Blanket On?
Hunter was warm, and the weight of all his blankets was comforting. He smiled to himself as he thought about all the times Linus piled the blankets on him to make sure he was always comfortable. But it was definitely warmer than usual. Did he leave the electric blanket on? His brain slowly woke up, and he started to notice things. There was a bulky and hairy body pressed to his front and a smoother, muscular one behind him. He slowly opened his eyes, and his cheek was laid on Linus’ chest.
He held his breath and then exhaled. He’d gone to bed alone. Linus in his room and Wren at work. He didn’t remember them coming in or curling up around him. He tensed as Wren shifted behind him and Wren’s hand spread over his chest. Oh fuck, he remembered he was naked. He hadn’t changed his habit of sleeping nude just because he was at Linus’ place. Every hairy, not toned inch of him was locked between perfect Linus and Wren.
He needed to escape, but he had a hundred pounds of blankets holding him down, not to mention four hundred pounds of combined male on either side. His heart began to kick up an agitated beat. He held his breath again as he attempted to ease to a sitting position.
“Where you going?” Linus’ voice was gruffer and sexier than normal.
He glanced up to find Linus watching him.
“I was trying to get up.”
“Why?”
“I don’t know.”
When Linus rolled toward him, he nervously nibbled on his lower lip and watched Linus from under his lashes.
“You have to be careful.”
“I’m fine, Hunter. The doc yesterday said I was healing right. If something caused me pain don’t do it. Baby, I’m fine, I promise.”
Linus laid his hand on his cheek, and he leaned into it. He’d watched every move Linus made over the last few weeks. He had even kept him away from the office. He didn’t want Linus to go back. He couldn’t do that again.
“What’re you thinking?”
“I don’t want you to go back.”
Linus leaned in and brushed a gentle kiss across his lips, then Linus laid his forehead against his.
“I’ve been doing this a long time, Hunter.”
“You have a death wish, Linus.”
“No, I don’t. But now that I have you two, I promise to be more careful.”
“Promise, promise?”
“Hunter?”
“I know, I know, you’re mentally incapable of telling a lie.”
“Exactly, now tell me why you were really trying to get away.”
He lowered his gaze to the wide expanse of Linus’ bare, hairy chest.
“I’m naked.”
A slow smile spread Linus’ full, firm lips. He remembered how good Linus’ mouth felt on his. A calloused hand stroked down his back over his ass, and he tensed. He couldn’t deny he was fuzzy everywhere.
“I could tell and why’s that a problem? Are you uncomfortable being naked with us?”
Us, Linus and Wren used that word a lot. They made it seemed so natural. He wanted to prove he wasn’t a fuck up but knew he’d show his true colors sooner or later.
